Our designers are proficient laying a firm foundation for your product, as well as supply you with clear, clean blueprints. Combining the engineering resources at Galgon with our external partners, enables a complete design team that can deliver your product to market, meeting all design objectives in the least amount of time.

Engineering Activities

Galgon's engineering staff has been created with the philosophy that sound engineering practices form the basis for a successful product development program. Our engineers stay well-versed in the latest technologies surrounding product development.

Galgon encourages early involvement of our staff with your design team, relying heavily on our expertise to guide you in making choices surrounding system cooling, RFI/EMC shielding, structural integrity, as well as precision sheetmetal fabrication and assembly decisions. Our engineering staff will focus on manufacturability and design cost reduction, insuring your product assembles efficiently and at the least possible cost.

Galgon can provide a full "Turnkey" engineering and design product development service.

Some of our customers have their own engineering and design product development teams. If an engineering or design "spike" hits your development cycle, Galgon staff can fill in when you might be short-handed.

Galgon undertakes evaluation of products currently in production with the goal of identifying cost-reduction opportunities through design modifications. After a product goes into production, there is always room for improvement. Galgon engineers will look for these improvements with a keen focus on maintaining system requirements (i.e. cooling, RFI/EMC, structural, etc.), making intelligent recommendations for cost reduction.
